Summary:
A Denpa disturbance alerts Rockman, and he finds a Denpa Virus infecting a soda machine. It poses no challenge, but when he tries using his Rock Buster, he accidentally transforms into Thunder Berserk, scaring the Denpa Virus away. While Subaru and War-Rock try to figure out what's going wrong, Orihime gives them a call. She's detected an OOPArt in the desert.
Hyde's already detected the next location, and rides a lumbering camel to the pyramids. During the trip, he reflects on when he first met Ghost, his Denpa life form partner. He was a struggling artist whose work wasn't appreciated simply because he reflected unwavering doom in paintings of happy occasions. Dissatisfied with the thought that his masterpieces would only be appreciated after his death, he wished to live forever. That's when Ghost appeared outside his window, attracted by Hyde's unique frequency. And when Hyde laid eyes on Ghost, he found the UMA beautiful. From then on, they've been a team.
After a quick meal that Subaru nearly chokes on, he and War-Rock head for the pyramids. Once inside, Subaru freaks out at the prospect of a curse befalling him for desecrating the tomb of a pharaoh. War-Rock tells him to snap out of it, but when they see a giant snake inside the chamber, Subaru runs like a ShadeMan out of the Undernet to safety. War-Rock keeps trying and eventually gets through to Subaru long enough to inform him that the snake had a Denpa life form signature, so Subaru stamps back inside to get revenge for being tricked.
Hyde and Ghost laugh about their deception of Rockman, when he returns to give them a piece of his mind. Hyde Denpa-Henkans into Phantom Black, and engages Rockman in battle. At first, Phantom Black has the edge, but when Rockman transforms into Thunder Berserk, things get even. Just when Phantom Black's been overpowered, the Sword of Berserk goes haywire, and Rockman starts trashing the pyramid.
