PvP refers to Player vs. Player battles. This is when two real users fight each other through a wireless Wave Battle. I'm not saying that some of these cards should not be used, but rather that some may be more useful when fighting against an opponent.

Excellent Tier

Stun Knuckle: This is a card that does some great damage and paralyzes. It is a bit slow, so I wouldn't recommend using this first in your combo, but it can make all the difference when keeping your opponent steady.

Freeze Knuckle: This card does slightly more damage than Stun Knuckle does and it sets you up for a breaking attack (since it freezes). It has the same problems that Stun Knuckle has.

Strike Edge: This is the only card that is useful in the whole Element Sword series because of its stunning ability. It also is hard to avoid when you've locked onto your opponent.

Break Sabre: This card is very good. It is a bit slow and hard to wield in PvP, but the damage it can take off is devastating. It can also break frozen opponents, which helps it deal even more damage. This card can take out a Dream Aura too (not a Perfect Aura, though).

Chain Bubble: This is an underrated card. It encases your opponent in a bubble and then will allow you to do double damage with an Electric Card. This card is very helpful when Gemini Thunder is used right after it.

Sticky Rain: This card is excellent for all purposes. It is essentially an auto-aiming, elemental Gatling. This card also can take out Fire Leo.

Cloud Shot: This card is another perfect example of what to use after you've bubbled your opponent. It has a great range and it paralyzes. You'll almost always see this card in my folder.

Voltic Eye: This card is a great choice to use after Flicker Kick. It has the unique ability to hurt opponents that are Invisible. This also makes it choice to put into your folder.

Flicker Kick: This is one of my favorite cards. It is really hard not to like it. It is very fast and it becomes even more useful when you attach a Paralyze Plus to it. It is also the only card that has the ability to blind your opponents. Flicker Kick is just all around a great card to put in your folder.

Berserk Sword: This is for you sword lovers. The reason why I'd put Berserk Sword in my folder is for the sole fact that it is the strongest sword card without boosters and it is homing. The last attack gives your enemy Invincibility, so attaching a Paralyze Plus to it is a good idea.

Jam Machine Gun: This card should be a staple to any folder for a variety of reasons. You will disappear from the field of battle, so it is a great defensive card. Furthermore, it can pierce Invisible opponents. It also deals decent damage.

Whistle: This card that does no damage can be a lifesaver. It brings your opponent to you, which you can then use a Paint Green/Blue/Purple card if you are running a Burst folder. It also whisks away your opponent's Aura/Barrier. I'd rather lose three spaces in my folder to this card rather than having to waste all of my other cards to bring down a Perfect Aura.

Aura: This is your best defense in the game. Aura will block attacks like Flicker Kick and Berserk Sword, which is why I would choose it over Barrier 200. It can also be strengthened to a Dream Aura if you lay down Holy Panels.

Invisible: This is also a great source of defense and it probably going to be the second most useful. This card will protect you from most Giga Cards, which is a BIG plus. It also is a white (or silver, if you prefer) card. The only reason why I like Aura over it is for the sole purpose that I have three Voltic Eyes and Jam Machine Guns in my current folder and I personally don't feel that Invisible is a threat at all. It should still appear in your folder, though.

Spirit Fury: This card is the second most useful trap card. It will activate on any elemental attack and cause the user either 220 or 440 damage (providing that you haven't used any damage increasers). The fact that it attacks back with the same element of card that your opponent used against you can be a big plus when taking out Star Forces.

Double Cross: This is the most useful trap card. It will use whatever Mega Card that your opponent used against you right back at them! Pray that they used Gemini Spark SP.

Giga Mine: This card is a really great trap card. It will spring when your opponent uses a Giga Card and will deal them 300 damage. The reason why I feel that the other previously mentioned cards are better is because Spirit Fury will deal elemental damage that could possibly take out a Star Force and because Double Cross will almost always do over 300 damage if you maxed out all of your SP cards (which you should have).

GNull Stage: This stage formation will make it so your opponent would be able to guard and thus it will set them up for some attacks, like Wide Wave 3, so they can't be blocked. I recommend using Thunder Ball 3 with it.

Paralyze Plus: This will make any card paralyzing. I think that is enough said.

Cygnus Wing: This card removes barriers, breaks, deals amazing damage, and it hits all of the panels in the backrow. Win!

Harp Note: She will not miss your opponent unless they are Invisible. She also will paralyze them. I think that it is a pretty good deal.

Cancer Bubble: Bubbling your opponent is a very useful tool in this game, because then they can be set up for double damage to electric attacks. This card will have trouble missing your opponent, so it is a good idea to bring along.

Queen Ophiuca: Non-flinching, poison-making, breaking, and great-damage dealing all in one package? That's something to put in your folder.

Wolf Woods: He does two non-flinching attacks, which does some nice damage.

Pegasus Magic: This card is almost guaranteed to hit and it will freeze your opponent. Should I even mention how much damage its SP form does?

Gemini Spark: The twins of doom are worth putting in your folder. The first attack is breaking and the second attack paralyzes. It can really rack up the damage.

Dragon Sky GX: It hits multiple times (thus you can add an Attack +10 to it) and it removes barriers and auras. Take that, Perfect Aura users!

Pegasus Magic GX: It hits a wide area and it freezes. It can also take out Fire Leo users.

Leo Kingdom GX: This card does some nice damage and it will take out those pesky Green Dragon users.

Destroy Missile: This attack will do some massive damage to your opponent and even more if you add some multipliers onto it. The requirement of having to have your opponent on a null panel can make things difficult when using Trap Cards.

Gorgon Eye: This does more damage than Dragon Sky GX, but it pierces Invisible opponents. Its range is a bit lacking, though.

Gemini Thunder: This is one of the best Giga Cards in the game. It paralyzes, it hits all of the panels in the back row, and it does double damage to those wrapped in a bubble. If you would use a maxed Cancer Bubble SP card, you would take off 1000 damage total!

Not Bad

Ice Meteor: It causes invincibility, but it also makes ice panels which can be set up for a freezing attack and then followed by a breaking attack.

Blazing Edge: It causes invincibility, but it is a decent card.

Tidal Edge: Same as above.

Arbo Edge: Same as the above of the above.

Ghost Pulse: These have some nice special effects, but its range is lacking.

Green Ink: This coupled with Green Dragon Starforce and Whistle is a good combination. You now keep on recovering HP.

Fokx-Fu: Either you sink or swim with this card. If you can master it, then it is priceless. If you can't, then it is junk.

Vulcan Seed: This is another risky card. You can do loads of damage with this card if your opponent is close to you, but if they aren't, you don't do nearly enough damage to put this in your folder.

Green/Ice/Poison Burst: These cards can potentially do a ton of damage, but they take a lot of setting up, which is why I do not like them. However, if you can pull it off, then go for it.

Typhoon Dance: This attack has a nice range, low damage, but it can remove barriers and auras. The card also looks sweet, so it thus needs to be put in your folder.

Anti-Sword: Very few people do not have swords in their folder in this game. It does some nice damage, but I think there are some better trap cards out there.

Barrier/100/200: These cards are nice defensively, but I think that Aura is much better, because attacks that do a low amount of damage per hit do not affect its duration.

Gravity Stage: Holding your opponent down is the perfect intro into a combo. Keeping your opponent steady is key to beating some people in Wave Battles.

Holy Panel: Half-damage is always good. The reason why this isn't on the top tier is that there is quite the abundance of panel changing cards in Star Force.

Attack +10: Although 10 damage doesn't sound like a lot, when you add this to a Gatling 3 or Sticky Rain 3, watch the damage sky rocket.

Libra Scales: He doesn't do a lot of damage, but he has the ability to freeze your opponent (if they are over ice panels) and the ability to take out both Green Dragon and Fire Leo Star Forces.

Dragon Sky: He doesn't do a lot of damage for a Mega Card, but he removes Barriers/Auras and he hits all of the back rows.

Leo Kingdom: He does a great deal of damage and has a great range. His other plus is that he can take out the pesky Green Dragon Star Force.

Break Count Bomb: This card can be amazing or useless. The reason why I would not put it in my folder is that it can be destroyed. It potentially can do a ton of damage.

Dream Aura: This card is a challenge to take down when you are standing over a Holy Panel, but there are a few overused Barrier/Aura erasing cards (like Typhoon Dance) that makes it a little risky.

Lacking

Gatling: Decent damage, but I would much rather have Sticky Rain, which can take out a Star Force.

Air Spread: The only reason why it is this high on the tier list is that it is fast and removes Barriers/Auras.

Radar Missile: They can do a lot of damage, but the requirements can sometimes be a pain.

Poison Knuckle: This works well in a poison themed folder, but who really uses those? It is hard to use and I think that having Stun Knuckle or Freeze Knuckle, which both hold down your opponent, would be a better choice.

Jet Attack: In one word: Slow. I could probably get a drink of water then move and not be hit by it. Its only plus is that it does decent damage, breaks, and whisks away Barriers/Auras.

Fire Ring: It can do some decent damage, but hardly in PvP. If your opponent is in the backrow, it will only hit them once.

Blue/Purple Ink: Burst folders hardly work, so why need them? They also don't have the best benefits. I could see Blue Ink put in a folder so one could use an Aqua attack and freeze their opponents, but Purple Ink isn't very practical. I'd rather lay down Spirit Fury and call it even.

Jumbo Hammer: This does decent damage, but it is too slow.

Mop Lance: It doesn't have a good enough range for me to put in my folder.

Brave Sword: Breaking is its only good aspect. It is like a weak Break Sabre to be honest. Why not put the real thing in?

Synch Hook: Doesn't do enough damage.

Moai Fall: Too inaccurate and easy to dodge.

JamPunch: Too slow and easy to dodge. Its damage is the only reason why I'd think to see it in a folder.

Recover 10/30/50/80/120/150/200/300: Why heal yourself when you shouldn't be getting hurt? Using Invisible, Barrier, or Aura is a much better strategy.

Poison Apple: Since your opponent who reads this isn't healing, why even have this?

Grass Stage: Most Fire cards in this game are pathetic, so I wouldn't even expect to see them in a folder. Green Burst at least gives you the chance that it can heal you while you are in Green Dragon Star Force, this doesn't even have that option.

Ice Stage: Unless you are trying to freeze your opponent, this card is useless.

Crown Thunder: As a general rule, your opponent is always standing in the middle and it won't hit. I'd rather have Gemini Spark which paralyzes and does more damage than this in my folder.

Taurus Fire: A decent Fire card, but it causes Invincibility and Libra Scales is just an overall much better card if you are planning on using it to take down Green Dragon Star Force. And if you aren't, then why do you even have Fire cards in your folder?

Dark Sword: It doesn't time stop, meaning that your opponent can dodge it. It causes poison panels and I guess that it useful if you are running a poison folder.

Poison Pharaoh: It can be destroyed. How useful is that?

Not Recommended

Canon/Plus Canon/Heavy Canon: Since Giga Cannon isn't present in Star Force, using a Canon card will get you nowhere.

Plasma Gun: It doesn't do nearly enough damage to be useful.

Heat Ball: Too slow and easy to dodge.

Sword/Wide Sword/Long Sword: Bad damage and they can all easily be replaced by something stronger.

Ground Wave: It can be blocked and you see it coming at you.

Power Bomb: Tacking on a Paralyze Plus is the only useful thing to do with this card. Even then, I'd rather put something more reliable in my folder that I wouldn't have to wait for a Paralyze Plus to come up so I could use this to its best potential.

Count Bomb: It can be destroyed and many cards can do more damage than it.

Fire Bazooka: It causes Invincibility. Still, Libra Scales is your best option if you want to take out Green Dragon Star Force.

Tail Burner: Same as above, except this also has a bad range.

Wide Wave: It can be blocked and it isn't that quick.

Thunder Ball: It can be blocked and your opponent can watch it slowly crawl up to them.

Junk Cube: You can easily set this card off so it comes at you and then dodge it.

Power/Quake/Trip Song: They can be destroyed and they never really sing when it will help you out.

Big Ax: Too slow.

Magic Crystal: It doesn't do enough damage in the time that it takes for your opponent to destroy it.

Black Hole: There are just better cards than this. By the time when your opponent gets down to the amount of HP that would even allow you to use it, you are almost better off using your buster.

Bombalizer: This hardly comes in handy.

Aqua/Fire/Wood +50: The only reason why one would have this in their folder is to power up a Burst card. Seeing as that strategy usually fails, it isn't worth it.

Ox Tackle: Bad range, no effects and it flinches. It isn't even Fire element!

Darkness Hole: Same as Black Hole. I'd rather put something more reliable, like Leo Kingdom GX, as my Giga. This card is meant for clearing out viruses, not real-life opponents.
