Wave Command Cards
What they are and how the hell do you get 'em?
Wave Command Cards are a surprising extra left in the English version of Star Force 2. They basically function like the Battle Cards in the anime, to a point. They basically provide the player with some extra goodies, ranging from new battle cards that can be used in battles to more "fun" things like powering up bosses.
People want to power up the bosses why? (Just kidding)
There are a total of 279 cards that can be split into 9 different categories: Battle Cards (107), DX Cards (14), G Cards (87), Item Cards (50), Tribe Attack Cards (3), Tribe King Cards (3), Mega Man Data Cards (3), Mega Man Rogue Cards (1), and then Legend Cards (11).
There are two ways of entering the cards into your system. You can either do it from the Omega-Xis/WarRock screen, or from the Battle Card screen.
They are entered in by pressing seemingly random dots on the DS screen, and if you press the right ones in the right order, PRESTO! A card appears.
As it really is impossible to correctly guess the sequences for all 279 cards, PrimaGames has put out a Wave Command Card Kit, which has intructions for each and every card.
As a taste, PrimaGames has sent GRN a small preview (also available on their own site) with instructions on how to use it, as well as a couple free cards included. You can find the 2.47MB PDF file here. If you're interested in really getting all the cards, then it'll be a good idea to go ahead and purchase the guide itself.
Or you can wait and see if you win it in one of the upcoming contests...
