Jackie Hanzou is most likely a mix of Jackie Chan and Hattori Hanzou (famous Japanese samurai)
XEBEC Summary:
Subaru and the others arrive at a ninja village hidden deep within the mountains. Jackie Hanzou, who is proud to be a descendant of the ninjas, prepares a ninja introduction course so they can experience what it's like to be a ninja. Subaru and co enthusiastically start their ninja training, but... (Translation by onkeikun)
Summary:
Kizamaro has an exciting trip lined up for his friends, so they all decide to head out with him. Subaru invites Misora along, but she declines. The gang travels quite a distance from town, deep into the mountains, until they reach a ninja mansion. The owner, Jackie Hanzou, appears in a puff of smoke before them, welcoming them to his school. Kizamaro wishes to enroll in the ninja training program, and Jackie's happy to have anyone learn his Tougarashi-style ninja techniques. This makes the others think that he's desperate, but he insists that the art of the ninja is making a comeback, since two new students just enrolled the morning before they arrived. They introduce themselves as Fubuki and Kanimaru, superiors of the academy. With everyone assembled, Hanzou-sensei announces that if his pupils complete their ninja training, they'll receive the Spring Roll as proof of their ninja experience. The kids are enthralled, and decide to participate.
They all select their ninja handles, Ryuusei no Subaru (Subaru of the Shooting Star), Lulu Lun Lun no Luna (Luna of the Bending Road), Gogo Gon Gon no Gonta (Gonta of the Five Words), and Gin-pyou-tou-no-shakaijin-wa-retsu-zai-zen-no-zenzai-amaku-tsutsu-ura-ura-ni, or Kizamaro for short. Their first exercise is to hit Hanzou-sensei, either with their fists or the shuriken they've been given. Kizamaro throws his stars, but he's foiled by the kawarimi technique. Gonta thinks his master's distracted, but all he grabs is a taste of the kage bunshin. Hanzou-sensei explains that these are basic techniques originated by the school's founder, Tarara Mu, a name that gets Subaru's attention. Their second exercise is to catch up to their master, but when he runs straight up a cliff, they can't continue. Their third exercise is to stop a rolling boulder by hitting the target with their shuriken, but no one's aim is good enough. Hanzou-sensei heads to the lake while they're busy, but they still manage to stay on his heels. They need to cross the lake in a hurry, so Fubuki has Kanimaru create a tidal wave that washes them to the other side, but his alarm clock goes off and he loses focus. The kids wash up on shore, where Fubuki and Kanimaru regret having to return to their manager. To commemorate their training, Hanzou-sensei presents them with the Iron Fire Roll. Subaru can't help but think he knows them from somewhere.
Before the next training exercise can begin, Hyde and Gori, who've come to the academy no doubt looking for OOPArts, interrupt them. Gori wishes to purchase the entire village, but Jackie will only bestow the school upon someone who has completed their training and been initiated into the ninpou. Gori and Hyde agree to enroll in the academy, while Subaru gets a call from Orihime, informing him of an OOPArt signature originating from a hidden ninja village. For once, Subaru's already on top of things.
