"Subaru, Subaru, wake up Subaru, wake up," War-Rock said as he tried to make Subaru wake up.
"...huh?" Subaru said groggily as slowly stood up on the grass. "What happened? Last I remembered a big wave tsunami deleted a bunch of viruses and I was swept into it too..."
"That's pretty much what happened, the card finally came into play. I had to release Denpa-Henkan, I couldn't hold on any longer. And you got knocked out and slept here for about a hour," replied War-Rock.
Subaru stood up and brushed off himself and started walking home. "Let's go home,"
At the Battle Card making company...
"Sir, there's a signal that the Battle Card that we were testing was used!" Yelled a messenger to the Captain.
"Send the Satella Police to the area and make them investigate," replied the Captain.
"Yes sir!"
Over where the card was used...
"Goyouda, Goyouda, Goyouda!" yelled Goyouda as he went around carrying the big gun from AMAKEN labs.
"Men, search this area and look for any signs of that illegal Battle Card having been played!
The Satella Police went through the entire town of Kodama. They went through ever nook and cranny. Even inspected the soda machine but ended up drinking some Sour Sodas. They questioned all citizens for any strange things that have happened. Finally one found a Battle Card in the shadows of the shop, Big Wave.
"Inspector! Inspector!" cried one. "I think I've found what're we looking for!" he said as he waved the card.
"Huh, let me see it," Goyouda walked up to him and swiped the card.
After analyzing the card and thinking about suspects he came to a conclusion.
"I've got it. I've narrowed it down to 4 prime suspects. One, the guy who owns this Battle Card shop, two, that boy named Gonta, three, Kizamaro, he could be doing this with Gonta, and four, Shirogane Luna, she's rich. Now go check them! I'm gonna go investigate this shop!" Goyouda commanded.
"Yes sir!"
The first group of policemen went to check Kizamaro and Gonta.
"Aah, Gonta-kun, they're policemen coming this way, hide, hide!" Kizamaro worried since he was afraid they'd arrest him.
"They're here to protect us, not kill us," said Gonta. "We're just kids, they wouldn't do that to us," Gonta assured him.
"Stop right there you two," said one policemen.
"Y-y-yes?" Kizamaro stuttered.
"According to the Inspector, you two are prime suspects to an incident that happened earlier today. It involves using an illegal Battle Card, we're just here to question you a little...think you can tell us the truth?"
"Y-y-yes sir!" Kizamaro and Gonta stuttered in unison.
"Hand over your Star Carriers," one of the officers said as he put his palm out. Gonta and Kizamaro handed over their Star Carriers reluctantly.
"What if they find something illegal in our Star Carriers?" Kizamaro whispered to his buddy.
Uh oh...thought Gonta. He had some inappropriate stuff for a 10-year-old in his Star Carrier. 'Please don't check that,' Gonta prayed in his mind.
After a detailed search through both the children's Star Carrier's they came up with nothing. Everything in the Star Carrier's was licensed.
"Thank you for your time," said the officer as he handed the Star Carriers back. "There was nothing in there that we where looking for, you are free to go."
Gonta and Kizamaro gave a sign of relief. The two walked on muttering to themselves on how lucky they were.
Over at Big Wave...
"Ah, this Sour Soda is refreshing," Goyouda wiped his lips after drinking his fifth can of Sour Soda. "Now I better get down to business."
Goyouda Heiji stepped inside the Big Wave shop and looked around, nothing suspicious yet, he thought.
"Hello sir!" yelled Ken, the storeowner. "May I interest you in some rare Battle Cards?"
"No." replied the Inspector. "I'd like to ask you some questions though,"
"Sure, ask away!" Ken said cheerfully as ever.
"What can you tell me about...this!" Goyouda held up the Dark Wide Wave Battle Card in Ken's face. "I'm guessing it's from this store, yet its not licensed, in fact, it's illegal."
"Um, um, well, um, it could have been someone's that was passing by!"
"Likely answer, but on the back it has it printed, Big Wave, care to tell me why?"
'Darn that kid'...thought Ken. Why did he have to drop it?
"Oh, that!" Ken quickly swiped the card from Goyouda's hand. "Well, someone must have printed that by accident.
"So you're saying...this isn't part of the Big Wave store?"
"That's exactly what I'm saying," Ken breathed a sigh.
"All right," Goyouda left the store and went for more Sour Soda. Apparently he was addicted to it.
Over at the Shirogane residence...
Ding Dong!
"I'll be right there!" Luna ran to the door and opened it. To her surprise it was a man from the Satella Police, Inspector Goyouda. 'Oh great, him again...' She thought. Last time he made me show the inside of my Transer. 'Does he want to see the inside of my Star Carrier this time?'
"May I see your Star Carrier, civilian?" he asked.
'Dang, I was right!' Luna thought to herself. 'What do I do now...? Hmm, oh! I'll do that...'
