Taurus Fire Stage Review

Taurus Fire is the first boss that appears in Mega Man Star Force. He is a combination of Bud and Taurus. He takes over a truck, kidnapping Luna and Zack unless you stop him! So let's do the Wave Jump!

So we are inside of Taurus Fire's dungeon. Wow. Looks pretty weird. You see these weird wire tracks with an ox standing at the beginning of them, so let's check it out. Oh, look, a mini-game. This is sweet. Hehe, so now we are going across the tracks and weird arrows are showing up. Wicked! What?! Why am I getting these X's!? Crap. I failed. Let's try this one more time except this time I'll use the stylus! So you hit these arrows to keep your balance before they disappear. If you miss three, you get to start over again and lose HP, and considering your lack of HP this early in the game, that isn't good. So you keep on pressing little buttons that are popping out on the screen. I think someone is having a little too much fun with the touch screen. It doesn't get much harder as you go on, just press the arrows.

"Wow! This is fun!" You can try to tell yourself that, but you will just find it boring in the end. You pretty much bored out of your skull by the time you actually get to Taurus Fire, so you might as well beat the living daylight out of him. With only 400 HP, you can't possibly think of him as a challenge. It is too bad that you don't have enough water cards to kill him in three hits. I can take down his SP form in two (He has 1200 HP, so I use Pegasus Magic GX and Magician's Freeze).

Overall: Taurus Fire's stage isn't fun, but it is easy enough to help you get settled in the game. The stages get harder as we go on, though. I suppose this is to help the little six-year-old pwnz0rz.
