Chapter 03 - Of Paranoia and Flying Machines
Some weeks later Subaru meets a man named Shinsuke Utagai, who was flying using something known as a "Flight Pack". Utagai is very paranoid and doesn't let Subaru even take a close look at his Flight Pack.
Later Subaru meets Amachi who invites him to see the science museum at AMAKEN. AMAKEN is the new space program whose boss is Amachi himself!
A week later or so Subaru decides to go to AMAKEN to see the museum and Luna and her folk are following him. After checking out the museum Subaru and the other three go to check out the staff room. Amachi wants to show something to the kids. What he shows is his invention the ????? pack! Utagai overhears this and becomes upset.
The reason Utagai became paranoid was because when he worked somewhere else in the past, someone stole his idea for an invention and claimed it as his. Becoming even more paranoid, Cygnus appears. Cygnus takes advantage and control of Utagai as Ox did with Gonta. (What the ????? really was a jet pack).
The kids and Amachi go into the space simulation, where it feels almost as if you're in space. The 8 planets and Pluto are there as well, and people are able to float around and check out the planets. Cygnus Wing pops out after the little tour. He takes control of everyone and makes them all do the swan dance... of their DOOM! However, it doesn't affect Subaru for some reason.
Subaru escapes from the space simulation and Denpa Henkans. Cygnus Wing then goes into the Space Simulation Denpa Space Comp. As Rockman, Subaru beats up Cygnus Wing. The two jump out of the comp and Amachi tries to get Utagai back to normal, by trying to get Utagai to trust him. Cygnus Wing says, "What if I put in oxygen in here? Would you trust me enough to take off your helmet?" Amachi does take off his helmet - there really is oxygen in there! By seeing that Utagai can trust him, Cygnus Wing loses control over Utagai and disappears...
