Japanese Title: The Immortal Earth-Bound Spirit
English Title: Collision Course / Amusement gone Awry (combined with episode 24)
Summary:
Rockman's forced to fight Crown Thunder to stop the ship, but none of his gun or sword Battle Cards have any effect on the ghost. Crown Thunder brags that he is immortal, having fused with Jean Couronne Velmond Georgione XIV. Luna looks up the name on her Transer, and finds he was a European king who lived five hundred years ago, who was so selfish that he was exiled from his home country, and when he tried escaping into the ocean, his ship sank near the coast of Japan.
Gemini Spark doesn't find this situation interesting enough, and sabotages the ship's control system so that the vessel is headed right back to the city, into the Denpa Energy Power Plant. If it crashes, the whole city will catch on fire, but the ship will stop if Crown Thunder's defeated. After they leave, Rockman goes back to his battle with Crown Thunder, but he's still striking out with his attacks. Crown Thunder gets the upper hand, but Harp Note steps in to hold him off. Her Shock Note misses its target, when Crown Thunder starts choking and grasping his chest.
War-Rock notices this, and Subaru figures it out. Being earthbound, the king's spirit is tied to the ground the amusement park was built on, so his weak spot is the ground itself. After they use a FreezeKnuckle and Machine Gun String below their feet, Rockman uses a JetAttack Battle Card to crumble Crown Thunder to pieces.
The next day, Luna's still seasick from the ship ride, but her personal experience serves as an excellent source for Kizamaro's research report, on the terror of seasickness.
Trivia:
The English dub has two titles, in a way. The Jetstream webpage listed "Amusement gone Awry," while the actual video had "Collision Course" in it. We've listed both titles here on GRN. :)
