Summary:
Utagai comes back to town, and Amachi is thrilled to see him. He contacts Subaru, who's busy with Luna's search for Rockman, and gives him the good news. War-Rock's suspicious of Cygnus still being involved with him, so Subaru hurries to Amaken.
Amachi tells Utagai how happy he is that he managed to get away from the monster that was controlling him, but Utagai doesn't see Cygnus as a monster at all. The reason he returned to Amaken was to gather supplies for a new invention designed to benefit the FM aliens. Amachi sounds the alarm, but the security force is to late to save him, as is Subaru.
Utagai drags Amachi along the wave road to the top of a skyscraper, proclaiming how much more trustworthy the FM-ians are than the humans he's met over the course of his life. For insulting the name of his kind, he drops Amachi from the building, but not before informing him that Subaru is actually allied with one of the FM-ians he so devalues.
Like clockwork, Rockman appears and saves Amachi's life, then heads off immediately to fight Cygnus Wing. The battle is fierce, but Subaru's determined to bring Utagai around. Unfortunately, War-Rock informs him that Utagai and Cygnus are too greatly connected at this point to simply defeat the FM life form inside. Beating Cygnus Wing could kill Utagai. This makes Subaru hesitate, but the real blow is dealt when Utagai tells Subaru that the FM aliens that attacked his father's space station were led by War-Rock himself. Subaru's head starts spinning, and his lack of focus destabilizes the Denpa-Henkan. Cygnus Wing knocks him off the wave road, and War-Rock's able to hold the transformation until Subaru hits the river, washing downstream completely unconscious.
