Summary:
There's a D-Pet contest being held, and the prize is a Denpa Telescope. Mayu enters, as does Subaru, because War-Rock broke his Denpa Telescope when he ran the lawnmower over it. To repay Subaru, War-Rock lets him re-design his Denpa Energy into a D-Pet for the competition. The other D-Pets are no match for Wolf and War-Rock, and when they notice each other, they both assume neither can be who they think they are, since they're both too proud to be reduced to dressing up as dogs.
The competition soon reaches a close, as the stadium roof opens for the final round. A Frisbee is launched into the air, and the first to grab it wins. War-Rock and Wolf both fight hard for it, but War-Rock's strength pushes Wolf aside in the end. Wolf's sorry he let Mayu down, but while he's flying through the air, he sees the full moon and Denpa-Henkans into the red Wolf Forest. War-Rock flies back into Subaru's Transer to Denpa-Henkan, but even together their power isn't enough to handle the enraged Wolf Forest. Mayu pleads with him to change back, and eventually he remembers her, and backs off. Rockman uses the Star Break and Fire Leo's Atomic Blazer blows Wolf Forest away.
Mayu cries her eyes out at losing her D-Pet, and when Wolf sees her so sad, he decides to leave her a little gift before returning to his comrades. Mayu is overjoyed to see her D-Pet had a puppy, and introduces it to Franky, who was nothing more than a hamster all along.
