Summary:
Gemini Spark finds the remnants of Andromeda in the arctic, having been pushed to the Earth's surface by a volcanic eruption. With it finally available, the time seems right for Gemini's plan to begin.
On his way to school, Subaru receives word from Amachi that part of the space station his dad was stationed on has been found. Luna, Gonta and Kizamaro follow along for support. Amachi informs the kids on what Subaru's dad was working on, the Brother Band system, a signal designed to attract friendship from alien worlds. The theory is that the signal was beamed to the FM planet, and they mistakenly took it as a declaration of war, which is why the space station was attacked in the first place. Amachi also notes that the part they found shouldn't be active any longer, but it's still transmitting a signal. War-Rock says it's Subaru's dad, and decides to tell Subaru what really happened back then.
War-Rock was on the FM planet when they received the signal from the space station. The king of the FM planet, Cepheus, sent him to lead the other FM-ians in an attack on the space station. War-Rock thought he could cause more damage by forcing a Denpa-Henkan with a compatible human, and sought Daigo Hoshikawa. But upon fusing with him, War-Rock strangely lost his angry feelings toward humans, and became suspicious of his own kind. When War-Rock notices the space station on fire, he wants to beam Daigo out to save him, but Daigo refuses to leave his crew behind. War-Rock fights off Cygnus, then informs Daigo of a special ability he has to turn everyone on board into Denpa life forms. They'll be made of radio waves, and can beam themselves off of the space station. With no other options, Daigo agrees to this, and War-Rock makes it so.
Subaru's overjoyed that his father's still alive, but War-Rock's ashamed of himself for aiding in that attack to begin with. Amachi wants to know more about why War-Rock senses Daigo in the Brother Band transmission, but gets interrupted by a report that the FM aliens are attacking the city. They're determined to fill the Andromeda Key with negative energy, so causing mass havoc seems the quickest way. Subaru and War-Rock Denpa-Henkan to stop them.
