Summary:
A starving artist stands outside the city museum cursing the statue that won first place above his sculpture. While he tries defacing it to no avail, Rockman's busy busting McCleaver Viruses nearby. When they see they're outgunned, they try making a run for it, and during the chase one falls off the wave road. It bumps into the artist, and combines with him, sending the man into a fury to destroy all artwork he deems inferior to his own. After Rockman destroys the other viruses, he comes back to look for the straggler, but comes up empty. The Satellite Police arrive, but as Subaru makes a run for it, he's caught at the scene of another Denpa disturbance by Detective Goyoda.
The next morning, Subaru's on his way to school when War-Rock notices Detective Goyoda following them. Subaru gets worried that the officer's found out his secret, and looks over his shoulder throughout his classes. Detective Goyoda keeps watch outside the campus all day, so Subaru tries dodging him on his way out, blowing right by Luna and the others on their way to the museum.
War-Rock comes up with some tactical maneuvers to shake Goyoda's pervasive eye, but the hardened beat cop knows the city streets better than anybody. Subaru unwittingly leads him right to the museum, just as the infected artist from the night before attacks. War-Rock informs Subaru that this virus was the same that escaped from them last night, and that like an FM-ian, the McCleaver has fused with a human, creating a Virus-Human. Goyoda feels confident in his hunch now that he's seen Subaru run right toward a Denpa disturbance, and insists he stay locked inside the police car for safety. Subaru knows he has a job to do, but can't Denpa-Henkan inside the vehicle because of the multiple opposing frequencies running through its system for virus protection.
As the artist slices up the place proclaiming himself an art master, Luna tries to escape and twists her foot. Detective Goyoda holds him off temporarily, and when Gonta and Kizamaro exit the museum, they see Subaru in the police car. Kizamaro lets him out, and Subaru takes Goyoda's scuffle as an opportunity to Denpa-Henkan. Rockman appears, and saves Goyoda from a close shave. After Subaru checks with War-Rock that destroying the virus won't hurt the possessed man, one good Sword Battle Card puts the virus away for good. Rockman explains what happened to Goyoda, and vanishes.
With the situation handled, Detective Goyoda returns to his patrol car and finds Subaru right where he left him. He thinks Subaru is really one of Rockman's biggest fans, and warns him to stay away from the crime scenes from now on.
