Subaru answers the door, and Shirogane Luna, the Class President of Subaru's class invites him to school. She forcefully drags him along to try and make Subaru come to school. Along the way he meets Kizamaro, a geeky kid with glasses, who carefully examines Subaru. Subaru tries to run away after he learns that Luna only wants him to come to school so she will get more votes for Class President. He doesn't get far as Gonta stops him from getting any further. Subaru and Gonta get into a fight, but a teacher catches them so Subaru kicks Gonta while he is distracted and runs away.
Subaru goes to visit Amachi at AMAKEN. Upon entering, he meets a man named Utagai, a very non-trusting man. He almost doesn't let Subaru in because he thinks he is a spy. However, Amachi was there to clear everything up. As Amachi was giving Subaru a tour, Subaru says that he wants to be a Space Pilot just like his dad, who he thinks is still out there somewhere. Amachi tells Subaru this can only be achieved through school.
Later that night, Subaru goes stargazing again. He puts on his visualizer as he stares at the sky. He strongly considers going to school, but his thoughts are cut short when he sees some peculiar waves in the sky. Those peculiar waves were actually War-Rock and another FMian, Cygnus, fighting for the Andromeda Key. As War-Rock and Cygnus fought, they collided into one another and got blown apart. A mysterious shape begins rapidly approaching Subaru. It's War-Rock! Subaru gets knocked to the floor when War-Rock hits. War-Rock disappears as Subaru is left lying on the ground unconscious.
