After waking up, Subaru was in some sort of glowing orb. War-Rock was there too, and he was hurt from the fight with Cygnus. War-Rock explained that he came from the planet FM and that he is an FMian. Just then, War-Rock heard someone coming. It was the Satellite Police. He disappeared and so did the glowing orb. War-Rock pulsed into Subaru's transer to remain undetected by the Satellite Police. The Satellite Police arrived soon after and found Subaru in the location the waves were coming from. Subaru's mother came after she got the call from the Satellite Police. The head of the Satellite Police, Goyouda, remained very suspicious of Subaru.
After he and his mother returned home, Subaru, still shaken up, went to bed thinking this was all just a dream. "Maybe the alien was also a dream," he said.
"That was no dream!" said War-Rock. Startled, Subaru put on his visualizer and sure enough, there was War-Rock, right in front of him. War-Rock explained how he didn't want any human contact other than Subaru and proposed that he should hide out in his transer. Subaru agreed. War-Rock took Subaru outside to show him the Denpa world where Denpa life forms, such as War-Rock, live. War-Rock's power as an FM life form helped realize the true potential of the visualizer because Subaru could now see the Denpa world.
Subaru explained how his father, Hoshikawa Daigo, was doing experiments on contacting alien life forms on a space station. War-Rock already knew this though, as their brain waves are similar. Subaru demanded he know more about his dad and what happened at the space station. War-Rock immediately started making excuses about his injury and pulsed inside of Subaru's transer.
The next day, Subaru showed War-Rock the city. War-Rock warned Subaru to be careful of other FM life forms on Earth that are planning to destroy it. The FM life forms are a warful clan. A long time ago, they destroyed a planet called AM. The Denpa viruses that attack Earth are also from the planet FM. War-Rock betrayed Planet FM and stole the Andromeda key and thats why other FM life forms are coming after him.
After avoiding a close encounter with Luna, Kizamaro and Gonta, Subaru ran outside, only to discover Denpa viruses attacking the monorail. Subaru saw Luna hanging off the edge of the monorail and wanted to do something to help. Subaru climbed all the way up on top of the monorail to try and help. As soon as he got there, there were Denpa viruses surrounding him.
