Summary:
War-Rock asks Subaru if he's ready to begin his training. Subaru nods, and Denpa-Henkans into Rockman. They take off on the Wave Road, where Subaru marvels at the speed in which he's traveling. War-Rock informs him that in a radio wave state, going around the world takes no time at all.
Meanwhile, at Amaken, Utagai is carrying his top-secret invention out of the office when Amachi and a fellow co-worker run into him. Utagai gets very defensive and takes off, when Rockman stops by the window. He overhears Amachi explaining to the co-worker that Utagai stopped trusting people after his former professor stole the prototype he was working on. This saddens Subaru, and bores War-Rock.
After they leave Amaken, War-Rock promises Subaru that he'll look out for him, unlike the other humans, since he needs Subaru to fight. Subaru gets discouraged by the lack of genuine sentiment, and falls out of radio wave form just in time to hit a building. When he gets his bearings again, he's attacked by a horde of Denpa Viruses, and War-Rock relishes the opportunity to teach Subaru to fight properly. Subaru blasts most of them with his Buster arm, uses a Sword Battle Card on others, and leads the last three away from the city, before he takes them out with an AirSpread Battle Card.
With the battle over, Rockman transforms back into Subaru, and War-Rock warns him that the FM life forms that are after him will be seeking out evil and weak humans to control, since they'll need fighting bodies as well. Subaru freaks out about this, but is quickly distracted when he notices Utagai standing on a nearby cliff. Utagai jumps off, but War-Rock refuses to help Subaru save him.
Luckily, Utagai was just testing his newest invention, a flying jacket. Subaru isn't amused, but War-Rock finds the guy very entertaining. Unfortunately, so does War-Rock's old foe, Cygnus.
